ATLANTA - Atlanta's three professional acting unions - the Screen Actor's Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), and Actor's Equity Association (AEA) - teamed up to present a nostalgic evening of adventure, comedy and drama with old-time radio theater performances of classic programs for the benefit of the Atlanta Food Bank in a program entitled "Lend Me an Ear!" on Monday, November 15, 2004 at the New American Shakespeare Tavern.

The event raised over $1300 in cash and checks, and boxes upon boxes upon bags upon bags of food for them -- an eye-popping 827 pounds of cans and other non-perishables.
