"New Home, New Life" is a popular radio soap opera set in present-day
Afghanistan...
The BBC world service provides the daily soap for the
country where there is no TV and music has been forbidden. The program is produced
in Peshawar, Pakistani with researchers crossing over the border talking to
natives to keep the scripts relevent.
