Alien Voices ™

Instructional Video
A tutorial video and study guide covering the creative process of staging an Alien Voices drama from concept to production.

Dramatic Publishing  800-448-7469. (Code: X04) $25.00

The title says it's an Instructional Video. I'd call it a " making of." At twenty three minutes, including a burned in time code window, this vhs tape highlights a little bit of instruction from the masters Leonard Nimoy and John de Lancie. After that you get to see the 15 minute play performed at the 1999 California Superintendents Convention by a group of students who spent 12 hours rehersing.

It's interesting to watch, but 23 minutes for $25 is a tad high in my book.

If you are on a tight budget, I would order the Lost World Tape for $14.95.

This is the same tape that originally was sold on the Alien Voices ™ web site, then suddenly went out of print. The strongest part of the tape is watching the creation of sound effects.

Also available is their First Men on the Moon.
